I'm currently an UX designer at Alibaba U.S.. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Design degree in Design for Interactions. Previously I hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a Business Minor at Cornell University.
Yearn for unleashing my creative mind with the American educational system, I came to USA alone when I was 16, and have lived in 6 cities and 4 countries during my study period. I have learned to quickly adapt to new environments and be able to accomplish tasks with independence and self-motivation.
Love exploring unfamiliar roles and territories, I have designed museum at Kengo Kuma & Associates, researched about behavioral change with PNC bank, organized the 2nd Ivy China forum in Beijing, WWOOFed at an Australian mango farm, tasted a semester of wines in a viticulture class... Yes, possibilities are infinite.
Design is a humble experiment in which designers must critically look at the complex relationship between the user, the larger environment, and themselves. I began to realize the importance of empathy in this synthesizing process, which eventually led me to the study of interaction design :) .
